Going on vacation soon? Planning on taking the family with you? That’s exactly what we are here for. In today’s post, we will be looking at Elizabeth’s blog entitled Wander Mum. She knows that travelling with two small children could be difficult so she has brought us a bevvy of useful tips on what she brings when she takes her children on a family holiday somewhere warm. Remember that these were her tips based on her experiences, and individual needs may vary from person to person.
- Swimsuits and swim hats x2. It’s incredibly important to make sure that when you’re taking your kids somewhere hot, they have a way to cool off. A pool or the beach can be a perfect place to take them. Now, most people assume that you’d need a swimsuit and hat for a baby when they go swimming. But not ever assumes that you might need 2. Why 2? Well, children are messy in multiple different ways and it is always better to have extras with you than to not have enough.
- Sunglasses aren’t only worn to make your kid look cool on their family holiday, but of course to protect their eyes. Vision is developing rapidly at young ages so making sure they are protected is incredibly important.
- Long Clothes, much like sunglasses are there to protect your child. Yes, this might be warmer than shorts and a t-shirt but keeping them out of the harmful sun rays is more important than brief comfort.
